Try Before You Buy

Come over for Try Before You Buy.Why purchase something before knowing what it's all about and how it compares to its competitors and other like items. Never knew there was a difference between Cuttlebug and Vagabond (other than one is crank and the other is motor)? Come find out!

Scrap-a-thons

Scrap-a-thons are the entire weekend! Friday - Sunday! It's just fun to see what we're working on, ask questions, and devote the entire weekend to scrapping!

Midnight Special

Midnight Special is Crop Night with a twist! How do we have crop night online? We really can't. But it's a great way to see what I'm working on, ask questions, and have some fun. However, with the Midnight Special, you will have a "special gift" at midnight - to be revealed at midnight. So tune in!

There will be 2 layouts, with coordinating page available for purchase, instead of the usual one make and take layout on crop night.

Think Ink

Think Ink

Think Ink: Learn the latest techniques using Tim Holtz methods, Versa Mark, and a number of other multi-media mediums. Each month is something different. Kits - by the traditional sense - are not available for technique classes. However, you may order your supplies in advance so you can be ready for class.

Stinkin' Cute Projects

Stinkin' Cute Projects: The name of the class says it all. And you'll be repeating the phrase out loud over and over during class time too! Actually, there is a story behind the name. I was teaching a classroom of students a project last year when I was an instructor in a store. She kept saying over and over "this is stinkin' cute!". And apparently she had her own story behind that one! So I decided to name this class Stinkin' Cute Projects as a result.

Price includes one stinkin' cute project with all the fixin's (except where noted; sometimes paper and accessories will vary). Decorate your life. $28 per kit.

Perfect Pages

Perfect Pages

Perfect Pages: Turn your pages from blah to ah! Create two terrific looking pages (coordinating) and learn a technique or two. Layouts are themed according to the time of the year and a lot of fun! $28 per kit.

Lickety Slip

Lickety Slip

Lickety Slip $28: Lickety Slip is a Bazzill Basic original. Create  beautiful layouts to commemorate your life, family, and activities throughout the year - one month at a time in advance. This class is continuing throughout the year using a paper line by My Mind's Eye. You don't want to miss a month! But if you do, don't worry; we'll have the kit ready for you so you can stay current and/or catch up if necessary!

Each kit consists of two 12x12 layouts (your main page, and the coordinating page) and two 4x6 journaling blocks. You will also get 2 extra sheets of designer paper so you can create more journaling blocks on your own time. $28 each month/kit. This class is more fun if you have a group of friends to do it with so you can exchange 4x6 cards with each other every month.

Policies

Policies
We are still developing our policies. Please check back often for changes.

There are no refunds at this time. The Wagon Wheel is not equipped with a database system for inventory controls and neither is Scrap-a-rama at this time.

No discounts on software, magazines, books, clearance items, pre-paid orders, or special orders.

Beginning July 1, 2011, all classes will be offered online only. If we know each other, and you require one-on-one time with me for a class offered, you are welcome to contact me to arrange for a private class time.

When we do have a database system to help us with inventory there will be no refunds on paper (designer, printed or cardstock), opened packages, pens, markers, books, magazines, ribbon by the yard, material, seasonal products, software, pre-paid orders, Provo Craft products, special orders or clearance items. Refunds will be in the form of exchange or store credit, receipt required. Must be return within 2 weeks of purchase. We must be able to put back onto the shelf the item you are returning; if it is opened or damaged - even in the least bit - we cannot accept it.

Coming soon is a lay-away plan! Please check back later for details.

Note: If you experience a problem with an electronic product or software you must contact the technical support department of the manufacturer. They are better equipped to handle the issue and help you trouble shoot. Often manufacturers have policies that require consumers to contact them for returns and problems rather than the store from which they bought the item. Thank you for understanding.

Upcoming Project Classes

First up is something inspired by Pinecone Press. It's a Calendar books for
all your important dates for the year with pull out tags. Isn't this so stinkin'
cute? It's the main project; I haven't decided on project #2 yet. It might be a
Valentine's Explosion box with pockets and tags (candy included!). The paper in both projects were from personal stock;
the actual paper and ribbon for the projects will vary. The punches used will be
the same as they represent certain months of the year. Rhinestones will be
included. This class is offered in
January.

I have been asked to dig through my project archives and revive some of my
best projects for upcoming classes. So here is one of them; this project will be
for February. I neglected to take a photo of the Stationary Card holder (March's
project) before putting it up for display at The Wagon Wheel in my room. Below
is the mini purse album; embellishments (ie: Texas key ring) are not included;
purse handle, button, and paper will vary; included are purse handle, purse
snap, button, paper and chipboard. Instructions will be emailed to students in a
3-part PDF file as it is 24 pages long. Make sure your Adobe Reader is up to
date:

Next: the pocketbook. This project will go with the
February class. It will
also give me an opportunity to demo The Cinch to students.

look at the inside jacket; there's even a pocket there!

For March we'll have the Stationary Card holder (pic coming soon!) and the
mini-me version of the pocket book above. The mini-me version is made totally
different than the larger version above. In fact, it takes only one piece of
double sided paper; the larger version takes as many pieces of printed paper as
you want for the number of pages. Compare the size to my finger on the book
below. See how teeny tiny that is?:

Hope to see you in my classes!

Teasers

If you weren't at Teasers here is what you missed! We had two great make and takes - illustrative of many of the classes we offer. The "LOVE" make and take might look familiar...it was inspired by something I saw at Michael's. And, yup! you guessed it! The class that one represented is The Frugal Scrapper and Cricut. What a great way to decorate your home and at a fraction of the cost!

Next was a chipboard book with different themes of Valentines such as Distressed Valentine, Funny Valentine, Nostalgic Valentine, Modern Love, etc. Below are a few of the pages.

Classes represented between both make and takes were: Design Studio, Cricut, Think Ink, Stinkin' Cute Projects, Perfect Pages and the Frugal Scrapper.

My life is an open book - Perfect Pages layout

Hi everyone! first, let me tell you about one of our upcoming classes! Perfect Pages is a name many of you ought to recognize. This month's page layout is titled: my life is an open book. That's because the layout opens up like a book! Ok, ok, more like a gatefold, but you know what I mean. The paper I used in this example is from personal stock; we will be using the BoBunny line Crush in class. The layout will be the same, as well as the punches I used; only the paper, cut outs, and ribbon will/may be different. When I created this layout my BoBunny hadn't yet arrived. It's here now but will not go on the shelves until after the Perfect Pages class. Students will have first dibs to purchase the paper.

What's great about this layout is there are lots of places for photos and journaling; it's like getting 4 layouts instead of 2. Perfect Pages is this Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Click here to sign up. Take a look below at the page and the coordinating page:
