Crop night last Friday

We are on a mission! If you are not yet following me yet, click here to find out why you should follow this blog and read about my blog challenge.

Were you at our crop last Friday night? If not, here's the great make and take you missed out on! Make and Takes at crops tend to be very simple so nothing really special here, just some cuteness.

The left page was the make and take, while the right page (with the doily) was the coordinating page ($5 extra). I used the paper line Crush by BoBunny, 2 different Martha Stewart punches, the Storybook cart, and Love Struck - a Valentine Limited Edition cart from last year for the doily and "love". For the XOX, first I adhered white cardstock to a cereal box using my Xyron. Then I cut out XOX on my Cricut using Storybook. Next, I put the letters back in the Zyron, white top side to the sticky side; sprinkle Martha Stewart white glitter and shake (glitter not showing well in pic). Finally I ran the letters through the Xyron AGAIN (bottom to sticky), and adhered to the "shadow" cut out of the same letters using the Black and White polka dot (Sugar Dot) paper by BoBunny. The "Love" was cut out at 4 inches and the doily heart at 7.

Ribbon is by May Arts.

On the photo mat under the hearts I clipped the corners at 1/2 inch with my We R corner chompers.

Cuuuuuuuute! And NOT scraplifted from anywhere, lol! If you find anything remotely similar it's a case of great minds think alike.

Everyone had a great time creating, scrappin' and singing along to the dorky CDs I had with me. Thanks to all who showed up! Can't wait to do it again!

  4. Very nice. For a make and take and a coordinate those are wonderful. I wouldn't have known if you didn't tell us. I would of just though you did a beautiful LO. (You did do a beautiful job on them).
