First blog candy! CHA - Part 5

This weekend is my first blog candy giveaway! If you are not yet following me yet, click here to find out why you should and read about my blog challenge. I was afraid to announce blog candy over the weekend but apparently many of you are still quite active on the weekends. You guys are AWESOME!!!! I'll give everyone until Tuesday night, midnight, to participate. Who knows, maybe I'll be up to 100 followers by then, lol! This will be a small give away (can't give it all away all at once) and cricut users are more likely to benefit from this blog candy than non-cricut users (hint, hint). Here is what I require to qualify for my first blog candy give away:

1. Be a follower if you're not already.
2. Comment on one of the tags below. These are tags that Tim Holtz himself made for difference CHA show booths and which were put up on display. Tell me which one you like best and what you like about it. Some of the items you see on his tags are new products (fountain pen tips, coat hangers, easel BIGZ die).
3. Post a link back to your own blog in your comment.

Anonymous followers and "guests" will not qualify so make sure you are following this blog and logged in when you post. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Good luck!

  1. I'm the first! You are very mean. First off, I'm a huge Tim Holtz fan. You are going to make me go make tags/bookmarks now as I love seeing Tim Holtz's stuff or his style when someone else does it. And now you want me to pick a favorite. All of them! LOL
Ok, going to have to go with the West one or the airplane one or the top one with the starfish. I love horses and am more country. I love traveling and haven't seen any done with a plane like that. I love the ocean, so love the starfish.......
Ok, will go with the starfish one, mostly because it reminds me of ocean decor, if I had a cottage somewhere near the beach, that would be my total decor.
I am already a follower of yours. Look for the horse pic.
I have 2 blogs, one for crafting, one for all other stuff.

  4. Hi! How in the world can I pick a favorite because all the tags are great! But since I like anything to do with sewing I would have to say the tag with the dress form is really awesome and my favorite. I thought I was a Follower already and to my surprise I wasn't but I am now!

I am so excited I can hardly wait and that is what I think of when I look at this tag. I will post my blog address but it is horrible. I am new to bloging and I don't know how to make one.

  16. I love them all but the one that really speaks to me is the one that says to encourage your hopes not your fears with the flying heart (freedom of the heart..no fears...notice the string holding the flying heart down, trying to capture and hold it). It has a key on it...(key to unlock your fears and let them out...or maybe to let your hopes in...maybe both?) The numbers behind it. Ever hear someone say take a deep breath and count to ten? Well, when your fears take over, ten isn't high enough. You need to count to 100 or 1000. You need to count anything and everything to keep your mind off your fears so you don't focus on it (tape under heart that is by key). Well, that is what it says to me, now whether that is what Tim is saying is a different matter here but I love Tim's work. I am so jealous I can't see them in person or have my picture taken with him. Anyways, sure you didn't want a book.

  19. This is wonderful and very timely.. I have to complete 20 tags for a swap and needed some inspiration and I got it looking at your tags. I love the embossed tag with the numbers. I might go that route when I make my tags. Thanks for the opportunity to win the Candy, I have a serious sweet tooth! :)

  22. I love Tim's tags. I am a huge fan of his alcohol inks...and even own many of them, but have not yet worked up the bravery to use them. Bad, I know! I like the dressmaker form one, and the nautical/starfish one...

  26. I love all of his stuff...have watched his videos and he makes it look so easy when he is stamping and stressing away. My favorite tag is the one with the skelton on it...I am an old Grateful Dead Fan and that skelton just "speaks" to me. I am new to scapping and so all the offers of "blog candy" are a wonderful chance for me to build up my stash of materials.
